Prabal Pramanik's Academy of Arts, Bhamlada, Punjab has under taken project "Chamba" under its heritage wing from October 2008.
In October2008 an exhibition of Papercutting art was held successfully at Bhuri Singh Museum at Chamba. In November a comprehensive web site on Chamba, www.chambaheritage.net was launched.

In December 2008 a web site on Dalhousie in Chamba district, www.dalhousie1.com was released.
These websities linked with other web sites www.pathankotheritage.com and www.academyartprabal.com have sucessfully created an information technology belt from Pathankot to Bharmor. Previously, Prabal Pramanik's Academy of Arts have published books and portfolios on several heritage issues.
Pathankot, Dharamsala and Fathepur in Sikar district in Rajasthan have been presented in there publications. Three different and unique publications on Chamba will be published soon on Chamba. These publications will be of superb quality are will be interesting for the scholar and the general public.
The seminar on 10th January at Bhuri Singh Museum will finalize on one of those books.
Three art documentary movies were screened on this occasion.

1. Haveli in sands of time
2. Through the eye of a lens
3. Prem Setu were screened

It was decleared at the meeting that a colourful well designed book "From the Chamba Hills" will be published soon about twenty creative souls from Chamba. A comprensive art documentry on these people will be produced as electronic book with the printed one.
A seminar on Cultural integration at Chamba, Himachal pradesh
A seminar on cultural integration and co-ordination was held at the seminar hall at Bhuri Singh Sangrahalaya, Chamba, on 10th January 2009, time 2,30 to 5 pm.

Proforma of the seminar :

(1) The impact of information technology belt in the hill area in the cultural sphere.
(2) Cultural co-ordination through registration in internet based "Artists' roster" of Chamba.
(3) Talk on internet exposure of artists, writers and musicians of Chamba.
(4) An illustrated book in full colour featuring artists and writers of Chamba will be published in March 2009 by Prabal Pramanik's Academy of Arts. The artists and writers of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, are invited to participate. This project will be discussed in this seminar also.

Mirza Asghar Beg, Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Mr. Prikshit Sharma, Mr. Parkash Dhiman, Mr. Umesh Nandan, Madam Tulshi, Madam Mini, Madam Masto Devi, Madam Madhu, Mr. Lajpat Singh, Mr. Kamal Prashad Sharma, Mr. Yog Raj Sehgal and Aswani Sharma were present at this seminar.
