On 26th April and 27th April 2015 an International seminar on Art, Spiritualism and Life was held at two different levels at Kalyani Art Gallery of Prabal Pramanik’s Academy of Arts in village Bhamlada of Dhar Block in district Pathankot.
Mr. Kim Vu Dinh and Madam Ann Vu Dinh from France participated in this interactive seminar and expressed their views on the practice of meditation.
On 26th April the seminar was for serious seekers of spiritual knowledge and some practical aspects of meditation was demonstrated by Mr. Kim Vu Dinh and Ustad Kalakar Prabal Pramanik.
The need for spiritual practice for personality development was discussed at the seminar. As modern life style has created undue and harmful stress for many people resulting in unhappiness inspite of financial and social success in personal lives, meditation is the only way to gain mental peace.
The visitors asked many questions to the resource persons about the methods of controlling the mind and on concentration.
This seminar on the first day was for adults only. On the second day of the seminar, there was an inter active session on spiritualism through cultural exchange at the level of school children.
School children of Shri Satya Sai Vidya Mandir of Bhamlada came with Mr. Jaisi Thakur and sang spiritual songs. Miss Sylvia Vu Dinh sang song in French and they enjoyed themselves. There was a question answer session at children’s level on spiritualism and Ustad Kalakar Prabal Pramanik made a paper cutting art work of Shiva for children.
On this occasion, an exhibition of Devasthanakala art works on spiritual subjects was held at the art gallery.
